Fun and Supportive
There’s always something exciting to look forward to at Pomona Community-Based Adult Services (CBAS). Whether it's dance classes, karaoke, or painting, we’re passionate about providing a myriad of opportunities for our participants to make new memories and new friends while enjoying our quality services. And we’re always open to suggestions! Let us know if there’s something seasonal or special you’d like to see offered at our center.
WARM MEALS
Yummy Food
We serve fresh and delicious meals to our participants on a daily basis. All meals are ensured to have the highest nutritional value. Have a food allergy or sensitivity? Not a problem! Just let us know and we will accommodate.
THERAPEUTIC ACTIVITIES
Nourish Your Soul
When everyday activities become too difficult to manage by ourselves, we often need our family and loved ones to chip in. Pomona CBAS provides the support required to carry on with dignity, with the same love and care a family member would provide. We offer a wide range of therapeutic activities and services, including art, counseling, social services, etc.
NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING
Feed Your Mind and Body
The aim of good nutrition is to improve your overall health and wellness. With the help of a nutrition counselor, you can use nutrition to increase energy, improve sleep quality, strengthen your immune system, boost mood, increase concentration, and reduce symptoms of disease. Pomona CBAS offers our participants nutritional counseling to ensure that they are living their very best and continue to do so.
PHYSICAL, OCCUPATIONAL AND SPEECH THERAPIES

Throughout the year, we provide our participants with Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies to make sure they can achieve the highest quality of life. We have highly qualified individuals in our staff who are passionate about their work.

PROFESSIONAL NURSING
One-on-One Care
By the time many of our community members arrive at Pomona Community-Based Adult Services, most require some degree of health and wellbeing monitoring. Our Center provides complimentary and customizable nursing services for everyone. By catering to the personal needs of each and everyone here, we hope to make Pomona Community-Based Adult Services feel like home.
MENTAL HEALTH
A Caring Approach
We understand that everyone views their whole health differently. Norms, values, beliefs, and behaviors influence the way we experience and interpret the world, including the meaning we impart to mental health and illness. Our staff are professionally trained to provide individualized mental health support to our participants, who may or may not suffer from cognitive, mental and psychological disorders. We provide a sensitive and warm space to address these concerns.
SOCIAL SERVICES
New Life Opportunities
Many of our participants do not know how to access services that the State of California provides free of charge. We are here to help with that. The California Department of Social Services provides assistance in these areas:Â Administration, Legal, Children and Family Services, Community Care Licensing, Disability Determination Service, Adult Programs, Family Engagement and Empowerment, State Hearings and Information Systems.

TRANSPORTATION
From Your Place to Our Place
Worried that you don't have a ride to Pomona CBAS? We have you covered! Our fleet of buses and vans can pick you up from your home and drop you off at the Center, free of charge. In the afternoon, we will bring you right back to your home! Get in touch with us to make arrangements.
